Cleaning tips

I hate to clean!  Hate hate hate!!

This past week I found some things to make it easier.  Not as easy as calling EcoMaids, but easier.

Microfiber cleaning clothes.  I usually use rags, old t-shirts,whatever is around. I can't believe the difference that microfiber clothes make.  A HUGE DIFFERENCE!!

Mr. Clean Magic Erasers.  There are 2 strengths, regular and bathroom cleaning.  I never used them after the warnings came out about letting kids clen with them.  Someone told me to try them anyway and I just told my husband that all I want for Christmas is more Magic Erasers.

Well, someone finally showed me how to do that. Yeah!! You can add tabs with whatever you want them to say. Follow these easy instructions for your own custom tabs.

Want to be a product tester?

Many companies like to have regular people like you and me try out their products before they bring them to market.  Ever wonder how you signed up for that?

I've got the scoop for 3 great sneaker companies, Nike, Brooks, and New Balance.  I haven't got to try any Nike sneakers yet, but I have done New Balance for my entire family and we hve tried some comfortable sneakers!!

Gold is $199 and Silver is $99.  Both give you food discounts {including 4th person in your party eating free!}, spa discounts, and a list of other discounts.  The Gold Level gives you one complimentary overnight. Of course, some nights are black out dates, but $199 AND you get a free night!?!?!

I think I could actually go to the Sunday brunch often enough to make this worth while...

Did you know that Rice Krispies are high in iron?  Just found that out from my pediatrician and thought it was interesting enough to share.

Did you know that car seats have an expiration date?  Most car seats are only good for 6 to 7 years.  There should be an expiration date stamped or stickered on your car seat.

Also, if you are in a car accident your car seat needs to be replaced.  Usually your car insurance will reimburse for a new car seat!

That explains why no consignment sales and stores are interested in used car seats, huh?

I am really impressed!

I have got to tell you about this awesome new product I just tried...
Scrubbing Bubbles Mega Shower Foamer.  Tried it for the first time yesterday and I am really impressed!  I sprayed it on the shower and left the bathroom for a minute - them came back about 2 hours later and realized I had completely forgotten that I was cleaning and had left the cleaner on. 
I was exhausted and just wanted to go to sleep and figured I would have to spend the next 30 minutes cleaning it off because I had left it on way too long.  Nope... Wiped off in less than 5 minutes & went right to bed.  Love it!!  2 thumbs way up.  Anything that makes cleaning easier is wonderful in my book.

Remember those photo booths from the mall?  Pile in with all your friends and get a strip of pictures?
You can rent one of those booths for parties, weddings, etc.  Isn't that so cool?
Stumbled cross Saratoga Photobooth Company website.  Doesn't list prices, but it looks so cool.
