Irish Day

Thursday July 29th the Saratoga Race Course will celebrate "Mid-Summer St Patrick's Day".

Not only is this is the day of the shamrock t-shirt give a way, but there will be irish food and beverage {which means beer and cabbage - since I'm 100% percent I can say that!}, Boland School of Irish Dance, Orange County AOH Pipe and Drum.

How exciting!  I used to take Irish step dancing lessons so I can't wait to dance along to the music!

Saratoga Racetrack opening soon

It's almost time for the Saratoga season to start!  The race course opens Friday July 23rd.

Here are some highlights of coming events:

~Free grandstand admission on opening day Friday July 23rd. Clubhouse admission will be $2

~Friday 7/23 & 7/24 there will be music along the streets of Saratoga to celebrate Hats Off weekend.

Saratoga Chamber of Commerce has a great list of musicians here.

~Sunday 7/25 is the annual hat contest at the race track.  Registration is at noon.
