Gift Guide part 5...

For Moms- Dinner out!!  Someone else cooking, someone else cleaning up after. Dinner with friends or alone with the hubby would be best. So, if someone was nice enough to give you  a night of babysitting and a gift certificate for dinner to a nice restaurant wouldn't that be great?!?! {My parents do it every year for all their kids, possibly a ploy for more time with the grandkids}

Best choices for that dinner gift certificate? The Barnsider, Bellini's, Outback, or the place that I can't wait to go back to;  Wheatfields in Clifton Park.

For kids-

For boys {ages3-9}

These are the coolest things. Trio building blocksby Fisher Price. At first I thought they were just like legos and all other connectible building blocks. Not any more, I can't tell you what is so different, but little boys LOVE these.  Every little guy I know will sit and build with these for a long time and make things you wouldn't believe! 

There are different sets, the one shown at left is a basic set, the airplane which sells for about $5.  They range in price all the way up to almost $100.  Lots of sets under $25 though. You can make firehouses, police stations, building trucks, bugs, planes, and so much more. There's  even a coupon for $5 off on the site right now.

 

For girls {all ages}

Every little girl needs a tutu.  Isn't this little one just precious? Can't ever say that anyone is too young for a tutu.

Nice, fluffy tutus are perfect for dress up, birthdays, tea parties, or even wearing to the grocery store!!

My daughter has a few and she looks so cute in them!!

They even make adult size tutus so Mommy & daughter can match. {For the month of October 2Sisters Tutus sold pink adult tutus to help raise money for breast cancer research and sold 37 adult sized tutus!!} 

 

Gift guide part 3...

For Moms - I have one of these Bob stroller double joggers and it is awesome!  This is one of the items I really couldn't live without. I have one child who is outgrowing it and I am not ready to give it up. You can fit 2 kids in it easily, you can buy a "snack tray" accessory bar that will fit an infant seat in it easily-how many jogging strollers take an infant seat? The pushing is so easy and smooth you will never use your regular stroller again. You can also push this big contraption with just one hand - really - one hand!

And let me tell you, when you go to the grocery store, take this. I put both kids in this, push it in front and pull the grocery cart behind me.  The stroller is so easy to push that it works really well AND people get OUT OF YOUR WAY when they see you coming down the aisle. Actually, people will always get out of the way when they see this coming.  {I loved it so much I bought the single version of it too. } When my second ws born she had the WORST colic. I bought this hoping to keep her moving and not have to take her out of her infant seat. Best idea, she would sleep in this stroller like it was a cloud. In the stroller - no crying. Love it! Fleet Feet just off of Wolf Rd carries them around here, sometimes Babies R Us has one or two, but they are mostly online.  You have to buy on sale though, they are expensive but so worth it! {And you can resell for a good chunk too if you are ever willing to part with it.}

Join me {each & every weekend until Christmas} as I share with you what I want for Christmas for ME {as a Mom}, for my little ones, and for my pregnant Mom-to-be friends{I have a lot of them!}

I want a yudu personal screen printer.  I am dying for one of these.  I like to think I have creative side and this would be perfect for creating my own tees and maybe even some for the kiddies!  I'm hoping I can find one at a really good price on black friday!

For my little ones, I want a new membership to Tumbling Tykes.  {Ours expires on Christmas Eve}  I love that they have an annual membership, a cool summer camp, and an awesome preschool!  The little ones love to go bounce around at their place.  I love that they are clean fanatics and germ phobes in this whole swine flu outbreak.  I also love that they always have open play practically any time!
