Looking for stuff to do with the kids? Here's some suggestions!
~Keep it simple. Put some paper, crayons, scissors {depending on age}, cotton balls, straws, tissue paper, tissues, and a few other strange things on the kitchen table. Let them go to town and make whatever. Imaginations thrive!
~Make a tent with a sheet and a few chairs. Give them a flashlight to make shadows inside the tent.
~Make play dough! Here's a great no cook version.
~If your child is old enough totake a shower, send them in with a can of shaving cream. You wouldn't believe how much fun they have. The laughter and excitement will put a huge smile on your face!
I love to keep it simple. It's the smallest thing that amuses kids the most!
Got any ideas? Please share! I love to know more fun things to do with the kids!

make snow cream
Ingredients
* 8 cups Fresh Snow (liquid measure)
* 1 cup Sugar
* 1 cup Milk
* 2 tbsp Vanilla
Method
* Put approximately 8 cups of fresh snow into a large mixing bowl.
* Add the ingredients - first 1-cup sugar, then 2 tablespoons vanilla and finally, 1-cup milk.
* With the help of a wooden spoon, mix all the ingredients well.
* Continue mixing till the ingredients are well combined and snow attains the texture of ice cream.
* Serve immediately, since snow cream does not hold well in freezer.

Our favorite snow day activity is sledding on the front lawn, but I'm curious about the Oobleck. We'll try it!
