Cleaning tips

I hate to clean!  Hate hate hate!!

This past week I found some things to make it easier.  Not as easy as calling EcoMaids, but easier.

Microfiber cleaning clothes.  I usually use rags, old t-shirts,whatever is around. I can't believe the difference that microfiber clothes make.  A HUGE DIFFERENCE!!

Mr. Clean Magic Erasers.  There are 2 strengths, regular and bathroom cleaning.  I never used them after the warnings came out about letting kids clen with them.  Someone told me to try them anyway and I just told my husband that all I want for Christmas is more Magic Erasers.

Holiday Lights in the Park

This year the holiday lights in the park will offer some walk through days!  So exciting because I always thought it would be really cool to take your time and walk through.

Here's the dates and details:

11/23 5:30pm - 8pm Bring a new, unwrapped toy or make a cash donation and take a stroll

11/24 5:30pm - 8pm Make a cash donation to help pets to enjoy the stroll

1/3  5:30pm - 8pm  Your monetary donation will help fill food pantries!!

I can't believe how fast this fall is passing by.  Disney Family TV has announced the holiday show line up - 25 days of Christmas. 

Do Not miss Prep and Landing on the 15th.  It is so good! 
 

Chocolate tasting this Saturday

Pearl Grant Richmans in Stuyvesant Plaza will host a chocolate tasting from 12-4pm on Saturday 11/13.   Moonstruck Chocolates, incredibly yummy.

Target on Black Friday

Black Friday is approaching fast.  Target will open at 4am on Black Friday AND from 4-10am you get a $10 gift card when you spend $100. Nice!!

 

Snacks are great too! {Delicious Challenge}

Hannaford challenged us to a week of eating only Hannaford brand items {see all the details here.}

Swapping out the kids normal snacks for Hannaford name brand snacks was what I thought would be the biggest challenge, not so!

There was absolutely no difference in taste between the Hannford brand snacks and name brand snacks.  The only difference was a price difference of $3.41 for one weeks worth of snacks for ONE child!

Stay tuned tomorrow to find ot how breakfast and dinner from Hannaford are... Interesting...

Fun for kids in Albany!

I have been doing CrossFit for adults and absolutely love it. CrossFit for kids is opening soon in Albany and they are having a demo/open house this weekend. I can't wait to try it out!!
