Hannaford recently contacted me to do a " NO NATIONAL BRANDS" challenge for a week.
I shop at Hannaford, use some of the Hannaford brands, sounded great to me. Hannaford provided me with a gift card to go shopping and buy Hannaford brand items and "cook" with them for a week.
This week I'll be posting the good, bad, delicious, not so delicious and all. Is this a new way to save money? Will my family be sacrificing taste? Join me and we'll see! And let me tell you, when a 2 yr old and a 5 yr old don't like something they let you know! When they do like something you get silence while they eat!
We made incredible french toast, pancakes, omelettes, teriyaki chicken, and more!!
Stay tuned...

We recently received some Martha Stewart crafts in the mail to help decorate our house for Halloween. I've purchased a few Martha Stewart craft items at Michael's and always been impressed with the quality, but these are beyond wonderful!
The witch you see above? LOVE IT!! It's a wall cling. My 5 and 2 yr olds put it up themselves with very little help from me! Since the whole thing is black you can't tell if there is a ripple in it or a 2 yr old put half of it up. Great!! I kept talking about how cool this Martha Stewart witch cling was that people told me to "please shut up". So instead I gave 2 other people the same witch wall cling. HA! I got calls right back - WOW these are great! They look so good!
TOLD YOU!!
The difference between this and a regular old cling- it's nice and also looks classy. A step above anything else you can buy for Halloween. Our's will being staying up for a long time after Halloween!
The best part!! I got extras to give a way!! One lucky winner will receive a nice decorating package:
1 package of Martha Stewart spiders
1 package of Martha Stewart bugs
1 package of Martha Stewart bats
1 package of Martha Stewart mouses and mouse holes
AND
18 packages of witch wall clings like you see above. {Sorry I was supposed to give a way more, but I got carried away at my own house!!}
Here's how to win!
Leave a comment below telling me what your favorite Martha Stewart Halloween craft item is from her website for a chance to win.
Winner will be picked Wednesday night at MIDNITE and I will notify you right away to get your mailing or drop off info.
Good luck and Happy Halloween!
For those who don't win, get Martha Stewart crafts and Michael's and JoAnn's crafts stores. {I know Michael's regularly gives out coupons for 20% off all Martha Stewart crafts too!}
{Martha Stewart Crafts was nice enough to send me these items to try out for myself and give a way! A huge thanks!}

ThredUp is a brand new way to "exchange" your kid's used clothes for other kids used clothes.
You pay $5 plus shipping for each box of clothes and in exchange you list a box of clothes for someone else. You don't have to swap with one person. You can get a box from one person and someone in a whole different state may get yours!
The membership is free. There is a pro upgrade that entitles you to certain extra benefits.
You have to check this out, it's hard to explain, but once you start reading it just sounds better & better.
Anyone tried it out already?

We love Old Navy Halloween costumes! Have for many years. Well, since the kids have been wearing costumes anyway.
Why do we love them? Easy dressing!! And, the infant sized costumes are usually 2 pieces like the butterfly above. The top can double as a jacket after Halloween and you can layer as you like.
Never know what Halloween is going to hold for us weather wise in the Great Northeast. If it's warm a t-shirt and the costume is great, if it's cool wear a turtleneck and sweater underneath. The jacket {costume top} is so soft and cozy!!
Once you get out of toddler sizes the costumes are easy enough to get on and off by themselves! Yeah!!
Plus, once Halloween is over, you have great items for dress up!! Yes, I have let me son wear the top of his dinosaur costume as a jacket thorugh Colonie Center. Hey, it's warm and he loves it!!
Check out all their Halloween items in stores or online.
